YSU presented the Center for Optical Microsystems in "Learn & Work: YSU EXPO-2024”

"Learn & Work: YSU EXPO-2024” dedicated to YSU’s 105th anniversary was held at YSU.The expo gathered applicants, students, graduates, university divisions, and employers under one roof. Within the Expo’s framework, applicants got acquainted with competitive educational programs, while students met their future employers, and employers presented their activities and career opportunities.The Scientific and Educational Center for the Development and Research of Optical Microsystems , which was established within the frames of the " Education Improvement Project Additional Financing” loan project implemented with the co-financing of the World Bank, also took an active part in the " Learn & Work: YSU EXPO-2024 ". During the expo, the participants were presented with the possibilities of the newly created center and the advantages of the new master's program "Optics and Photonics.
"We show the theoretical and practical aspects of our educational programs. The Institute of Physics displayed such equipment that provided the visitors with a basic understanding of various scientific experiments. "We are continuously reforming our educational programs to align with the demands of the labor market”,- notedMusheghRafaelyan, the Head of the grant project.
Mushegh Rafaelyan, emphasizing the significance of organizing similar events, highlighted the importance of "Learn & Work: YSU EXPO-2024" as a valuable platform to show educational and scientific opportunities and potential available at YSU, as well as to introduce the labor market demands to students and graduates.
