Question

For a Foreign Bidder Please advise what is the preferred currency to bid for CIP Price – US Dollars or EURO ?

The Bidder may express the Bid price in any currency. /BD, “Section I. Instructions to Bidders”, clause 15. Currencies of Bid and Payment/

2..Taxes in Armenia

Question

Since procurement is funded by World Bank we construe that goods to be imported shall be exempted from import duties and taxes. Please confirm for a Foreign Bidder no customs duties, taxes etc. shall be applicable for import into Armenia.

Answer

In case of CIP price the duties, taxes, etc have to be paid by the Purchaser.

3 Financial Year

Question

In India the Financial Accounting Year is from April to March. Say for Year 2023; the Financial Accounting period shall be from 01 April to 31 March 2024. Please confirm acceptance ?

Answer

The Bidder must propose his country's Financial Accounting Year reports.
