The results of the Trainings of the Directors and teachers of the Newly Established Preschools are Summarized

In the framework of the sub-component, "Promoting School Readiness and Equal Opportunities at the Start of General Education", the results of distance trainings of the teachers and directors of selected institutions involved in the newly established preschools have been summarized. On July 24, 2023, the Center for Education Projects PIU, as a result of the announced tender, signed a contract with “Step by Step” Benevolent Foundation to conduct online trainings for the teachers of the newly established preschools and directors of selected institutions. During the months of August-September, "Step by Step" Benevolent Foundation supported school directors and teachers of the newly established preschools to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to work with 4-6 year old children at preschools. "Step by Step" Benevolent Foundation also provided relevant materials, programs and consultations.
Training modules, manuals, a thematic training plan, schedule of trainings e, and a distance training evaluation questionnaires have been developed to carry out trainings for preschool teachers and directors. The assessment of knowledge and skills acquired by the teachers as a result of the conducted training, as well as testing of trainees was carried out. Each of the participants was provided with a training package, including modules and manuals.
Thus, within the framework of the "Education Improvement Project Additional Financing" loan project with the co-financing of the World Bank, 31 directors and 62 teachers were trained in August-September, 2023 and about 50 directors and 100 more teachers will be trained in July-August of 2024.
