9 Newly Established Preschools in Armavir Region, RA

On September 1st in the frames of the "Education Improvement Project Additional Financing" loan project and in the context of the sub-component "Promoting School Readiness and Equal Opportunities at the Start of General Education", the CEP PIU representatives visited a number of schools in Armavir Region, where new preschools were opened this year. The first stop was Dalarik community. The preschool established on the basis of Dalarik secondary school has opened its doors to the dearest pupils for the first time. The preschool was established under the auspices of the World Bank within the frames of the “"Education Improvement Project Additional Financing" loan project implemented by the “ Center for Education Projects ” PIU. The above mentioned school is one of the 29 schools where pre-school micro-projects are being implemented this year. The representatives of Center for Education Projects and community leaders, toured the newly- established preschool, got acquainted with the works done, talked to teachers and parents. It should be added that there are 25 pupils enrolled in the newly established preschool.
At preschool little Ani enthusiastically demonstrated the toys and colorful corners for her and her friends. The School Director noted that preschool education is the pillar of the successful educational process and establishment of preschools, as a result of such projects, is an important precondition for having a literate and educated citizen tomorrow.
Beautiful and colorful rooms, toy-filled corners – under these conditions the pupils of the newly established preschool will spend their everyday life. Teachers and community residents highlighted the importance of preschool establishment․ It should be reminded that all the envisioned renovation works have been carried out․ Thus, as a result of the project the preschools were furnished with the necessary furniture, all the necessary equipment was provided for the effective organization of pre-school education. Training of the teachers was also organized in the frames of the project. It should be added that all the requirements for the organization of inclusive education have been met by the “Center for Education Projects” PIU whhile implementing the projects for the preschool establishment, that is to say that the newly established preschools have adjusted environment.
